In this work, I use photo-encaustic mixed media to examine the parallels between emotional regulation and ecological disruption. The wave imagery reflects both coastal instability and the nervous system’s stress responses, highlighting how internal and external systems adapt under pressure. Through layered material processes, I explore resilience at the intersection of neurobiology and climate.
